No app, no account, just a phone camera.

Scanning a WaggleTrack tag opens the pet’s profile in the browser. The finder sees their name, photo and the notes you have chosen to share, and can message or call you through a private line. Your number and address stay hidden unless you decide otherwise.

Why register before my pet goes missing?

Because every minute matters. If their details are already in the network, you don’t start from zero, and the search can begin the moment a matching pet is reported, sometimes before you even know yours is missing.

How does AI-assisted matching work?

When a found or missing pet enters the network, WaggleTrack compares the information and images available against registered pets and flags possible matches.

Does a person check the matches?

Yes. Technology can identify possibilities, but people help make the connection. Possible matches are reviewed by our team before a family is put in touch.

Is it really free?

Yes. The profile, the network and the standard tag are free, and always will be.

Can I register a cat or another animal?

Registration is open for dogs only at the moment. Every part of the profile and the tags is currently built around them.

My dog is already microchipped. Do I still need this?

A microchip needs a scanner to read it. A WaggleTrack tag can be read by anyone with a phone, so a finder can reach you on the spot. Add the chip number to their profile and you have both covered.

Who can see my contact details?

Nobody, unless you choose to share them. Finders contact you through a private relay. You can switch on direct calling from your account if you prefer.

We're a rescue or shelter. Can we join the network?

Yes. Rescues and shelters can connect found pets with the network to help identify potential owners. Get in touch and we will help you get set up.

How long does the free tag take to arrive?

Usually 5 to 10 business days within the United States and Canada.

What if the tag is lost or damaged?

Sign in and order a replacement, then activate it in the same way. The old tag is switched off as soon as the new one is active.

Can one account hold more than one dog?

Yes. Add as many dogs as you like, each with their own profile and tag.
